Самые высокие темпы линейного роста у пятнистого терпуга отмечены на первом году жизни, а весового — на четвертом–пятом. Установлено, что приросты длины годовиков и двухлеток в годы с высокой температурой воды в июле–сентябре достоверно больше. Нерест рыб наблюдается с третьей декады июня при температуре воды выше +9 ºС, заметно раньше по срокам, чем в южных районах ареала.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Results of studying the current state of the population of whitespotted greenling Hexagrammos stelleri in the Tauiskaya Bay of the northern part of the Sea of Okhotsk are deminstrated. The highest rates of linear growth is demonstrated in the first year of life of whitespotted greenling, and the highest weight – in the fourth–fifth year. Length increments in yearlings and two-year-old individuals are found reliably higher in the years with a high water temperature in July–September.
