Данный выпуск журнала является тематическим. Он посвящен 80-летию научного наблю-дательного пункта КамчатНИРО на оз. Курильском — колыбели нерки или красной (Oncorhynchusnerka) бассейна р. Озерной, крупнейшего стада этого вида тихоокеанских лососей в Азии.

This issue of the magazine is thematic. It is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the KamchatNIRO scientific observation station on the Kurile Lake – the cradle of sockeye salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka)in the Ozernaya River basin, the biggest stock of this species of Pacific salmon in Asia.
